Arkansas is loading up within the trenches.
Sam Pittman and the Hogs secured a dedication from Rivals four-star offensive sort out Ben Mubenga out of the Peach State on Saturday.
The Razorbacks edged out Georgia Tech, Florida State and North Carolina State for the Buford (Ga.) Excessive Faculty mauler — tabbed because the No. 43 OT within the 2026 recruiting class.
Mubenga was again on the Hill on June 6 weekend for his official go to — and has recognized he was going to be a Hog ever since.
“The love in Fayetteville was unmatched,” Mubenga began.
“I knew I used to be going to Arkansas throughout my second day of the official go to,” he detailed. “From the teachers and the soccer there, the hospital … the whole lot felt proper. It was precisely what I used to be searching for.”
Arkansas began to shut the hole with the remainder of the groups within the combine as Pittman and offensive line coach Eric Mateos began to dig their heels with Mubenga this spring as coaches hit the street.
After taking within the sights and sounds of 4 official visits, no group matched the depth and monitor file of the Razorbacks’ coaches, who struck a chord with Mubenga.
The four-star OT moved his choice up from July 7 to June 26 — and was excited to land his spot in Arkansas’ 2026 class.
“Being an offensive lineman, it was clear that Coach Pittman is one among — if not — the most effective at creating offensive linemen,” Mubenga asserted. “Having Coach Mateos, who realized beneath him, speaks for itself.”
