The Thunder are … still good.

Will OKC repeat as champions? Will a Western Conference foe be able to take its crown? Or will the league’s next power originate in the East?

Here are the NBA title futures at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Nov. 25.

Here is what to know about the NBA title oddsboard:

The Reigning Champs: Through 18 games, OKC is 17-1 (best record in the league) and Jalen Williams hasn’t played a single game. OKC also has a league-high point differential of 16.9, meaning it is blowing people out. The best is getting better. It’s worth noting, however, that only four of those wins have come against teams with winning records as of Nov. 25. Things will undoubtedly get tougher for OKC, right? Now, the question is, can the Thunder approach the all-time record of 73 regular-season wins, and potentially win 74 or more. As of today, they are on pace to do just that.

Immediate Contenders: Second on the board is Denver, and it has separated itself a bit from the pack in that spot. At 13-4, the Nuggets have the second-best offense in the league (123.8 points per game) and have the third-best point differential (+9.9). The Nuggets are also tied for the most efficient team in the NBA, shooting 50.6% from the field. Oddly, despite both being in the Northwest Division, the Nuggets and Thunder play for the first time on Feb. 1, over three months into the season.

Respect On Its Name: Detroit appeared for real last week, and it’s still for real. The Pistons have the best record in the East, and they are doing it with defense. Detroit has the fifth-best defense in the league behind OKC (of course), Boston, Houston and San Antonio, allowing 112.6 points per game. Detroit lost its season-opener at Chicago and lost to Cleveland in the fourth game of the season — that’s it. Since then, the Pistons have won 13 in a row. Can the Pistons keep the streak going? As of Nov. 25, their next four games are against teams above .500, followed by nine straight games against teams currently below .500.
