A South African hospital cleaner has been arrested after being present in possession of a bag of human placentas in japanese Mpumalanga province, police say.
Rose Mnisi was allegedly in search of potential patrons for the human physique tissue when she was picked up by safety officers following a tip-off.
“Upon being approached by police, the girl was caught with human tissues. The girl confirmed that she is a cleaner within the maternity ward,” police stated in an announcement.
