The Ministry of External Affairs has firmly rejected any references to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Epstein documents, labeling them entirely without merit.

Official Statement on Baseless Allegations

Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal addressed the matter directly, noting that the Prime Minister’s official trip to Israel in July 2017 stands as a legitimate diplomatic engagement. He described the remaining content in the referenced email as ‘trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal,’ urging its complete dismissal.

Emphasis on Diplomatic Integrity

During the visit, PM Modi’s activities focused solely on advancing India’s official foreign policy objectives. The ministry stresses that all such interactions were transparent and aligned with national interests.

Officials advise the public and media to approach unverified information with skepticism, as these claims hold no evidentiary value and contribute nothing to meaningful discussions.

This response underscores the government’s commitment to countering misinformation and protecting the integrity of diplomatic records.
