Los Angeles County is poised to pay out an extra $828 million for victims of alleged sexual abuse in county amenities, months after agreeing to the biggest intercourse abuse settlement in U.S. historical past.
The brand new award, posted on the county claims board agenda Friday, will embody an extra 400 instances that weren’t included within the $4-billion settlement authorized in April. The Board of Supervisors must vote on the potential settlement earlier than it’s finalized.
