Tear fuel canisters are exploding in all places, and what sounds just like the popping of gunshots — reportedly “crowd management munitions” — could be heard within the background of the clip.
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) says no arrests have been made and no officers have been injured throughout the protesting … and reminds the general public they do not immediately have interaction in immigration enforcement.
They verify an Incident Command Crew was activated — using Dialogue Liaison Officers, Fast Response Crew, Air Help Unit and public security companions — in help of PPB’s monitoring of the neighborhood.
