Visitors queuing for ‘Safari World: The Wild’ at Everland, Korea’s largest theme park in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, encounter lifelike tigers and lions on a massive display that make the wait feel like part of the safari thrill. Samsung Electronics equips the renovated Safari World with its glasses-free 3D Spatial Signage, delivering realistic depth through patented 3D Plate technology in a slim 52-millimeter frame.
Spatial Signage Builds Safari Excitement
The 85-inch display brings animals to life with vivid movements and screen-breaking 3D effects, heightening anticipation before the tour starts. Jiyeon Bae, Leader of Partnership & Alliance Group in the Resort Business Division at Samsung C&T, explains, “Following Safari World’s reopening as a reimagined ecological space with enhanced animal welfare, we connect every stage of the guest experience—from entry and waiting lines to the safari bus ride—under a unified theme.”
Bae adds, “Spatial Signage leads guests into the safari adventure most effectively. To create a wild expedition atmosphere, we installed large-scale animal artwork with life-size bears, lions, and tigers along the waiting route. The display extends that with vivid dimensionality, enhancing immersion.”
The custom frame blends seamlessly into the queue environment, positioning the display naturally without disruption. Bae notes, “Watching young children stop to gaze at the screen animals shows how Spatial Signage adds unique fun to the waiting area. It previews the wildlife ahead, widening eyes with excitement as guests board the bus.”
Visitors Embrace the 3D Queue Experience
On-site guests respond with enthusiasm, interacting with the animals, snapping photos, and turning wait time into entertainment. A family visitor shares, “Real animals seemed to move right in front of us. Posing with the kids made time fly, and their excitement before seeing live ones made the trip special.”
A student on a field trip says, “I thought 3D needed glasses, but the tiger breaking out of the screen felt so real it surprised me.” A couple in line adds, “Previewing the wild animals builds true anticipation—it feels like we’ve entered the safari already.” Tourists from abroad comment, “Tigers, lions, and bears look vividly alive, making the wait enjoyable and boosting spirits for the adventure.”
Technology Creates Spatial Immersion
SeungHyuk Jin, CEO of Klleon, the content development firm, highlights Spatial Signage as an innovative interface. “It goes beyond information delivery, letting visitors experience the space directly,” Jin states. “We captured natural animal movements and spatial depth for immediate immersion in the safari world while waiting.”
At Everland’s Safari World, Spatial Signage defines the space and elevates the visitor journey with cutting-edge display innovation.
