Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement (Tawazun), the nationwide authority mandated to allow, regulate, and maintain the UAE’s defence and safety industrial ecosystem, signed 27 native and worldwide contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and Abu Dhabi Police valued at AED24.443 billion (US$6.65 billion) throughout the 4 days of the Dubai Airshow 2025.

This contains seven new contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Defence throughout the ultimate day on Friday, with a complete worth of AED6.427 billion (US$1.75 billion).

Worldwide contracts signed on the final day included three offers – all with French corporations – value AED169.616 million (US$46.2 million). This included a contract with Thales to acquire thermal weapon sights valued at AED75.966 million (US$20.7 million); an AED32.24 million (US$8.8 million) contract with CS Group for the acquisition of programs, and with MBDA for follow-on help, spare components restore for MICA, Black Shaheen and Mistral, value AED61.41 million (US$16.7 million).
